India witnessed air pollution on higher levels on November 4 in the wake of Diwali celebrations across the country.31 people were injured in Telangana amid Diwali celebrations.Currently, the victims are receiving treatment at the Sarojini Devi Hospital in Hyderabad.However, accidents often occur due to a lack of proper care while firing crackers on Diwali.

On Thursday, 31 people were injured due to carelessness while firing the crackers.Four of them sustained serious injuries.

The doctors admitted them to the Sarojini Eye Hospital in Hyderabad as inpatients.The rest of them were admitted to the Sarojini Devi Hospital as outpatients and are undergoing treatment.

Doctors said that two of the seriously injured underwent surgery.Raj Tiwari of Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad has lost his eye.The Telangana government has recently issued key orders on the ban on the sale of crackers.

The Supreme Court recently ruled that crackers made with barium salt should not be sold under any circumstances.

In the wake of this, the Telangana government on Wednesday issued directions.Environmentalists and animal lovers are urging people for a long period to issue a ban on crackers.

But to no avail, people are still using the firecrackers.
