Ayodhya, Nov 24 : The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is setting up industrial corridors along both sides of Lucknow-Faizabad-Gorakhpur four-lane national highway within the 65 km periphery of the Ayodhya Development Authority’s (ADA) jurisdiction.The ADA is currently preparing the Ayodhya Master Plan-2031, which will include the industry hub that covers 100 acres.
Vishal Singh, Vice Chairman of ADA, stated that the master plan will be completed next month and sent to the state government for approval.
Unlike other development projects the ADA won’t acquire land from farmers.
“Industrilists will directly purchase plots from landowners and ADA will provide infrastructure.He said that the industrial hub would cover an area of 100 acres.
The new masterplan extends from the Ring Road, with proposed industrial corridors on both sides.The master plan includes 114 approved development projects.
Ayodhya, which is currently under construction for the Ram temple has been given a makeover to include modern infrastructure and facilities.Soon, the town will have grand gates called “Ram Dwaars” at all entrance points.
There will also be gardens that invoke the atmosphere of “Treta Yug”.
Deepak Kumar, principal secretary for housing and urban development, stated that project deadlines would be met on a military basis.
Another proposal is to include villages in the Basti and Gonda areas under the ADA.
