New Delhi, Aug 28 : Just hours after the demolition success of the twin Supertech towers on Sunday afternoon, the clean-up of the surrounding areas is in progress.Residents of the societies adjacent to them will be permitted to return to their homes once the entire exercise is finished officials stated.
“Cleaning is currently being carried out the gas and electricity will be restored in the area, and residents will be allowed into the societies of the neighboring communities following 6.30 p.m.,” said Ritu Maheshwari, the CEO of Noida (authority).
However there have been reports of damage to walls and windows in the society that is adjacent in the aftermath of the demolishment, she added.About 10 meters of the border wall of the neighboring ATS Society has been damaged and glass windows have been damaged after being struck with the debris.
No other details of damage from any source has been received at this time, she added.
However, the adjoining society Supertech Emerald has not suffered any damage.
The twin towers Apex (32 floors) and Ceyane (29 floors) Apex (32 floors) and Ceyane (29 floors) were in construction from 2009 within the Supertech Emerald Court society in Sector 93A of Noida.
