New Delhi, Sep 2 : There will be two rallies on Sunday -one by the Congress in Delhi against rising inflation unemployment, inflation and LPG price hikes and the second one will be organized by former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad to assess the mood of the public in his home state of J&K.Although the Congress has tweeted an image of an anti-party protest by workers in Azad’s home block in protest against Azad, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh tweeted “This is real not fake news created by those who live in New Delhi in Modi Sarkar approved bungalows with huge lawns and planting fake news.”
The J&K Congress tweeted a video of Congress workers of all blocks of Bhallessa sub-division gathering at the Congress office in Gandoh to attend the monthly gathering held on the 1st day of every month for over 50 years.Bhalessa is the village of origin of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Former J&K Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad’s supporters are euphoric in his home town of Bhaderwah in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, just a few days after he quit the Congress and announced the launching of his own party.
The majority of supporters of Azad in Bhaderwah claim that they will always be with his position and it doesn’t matter if he is a member of the Congress or a different political party.
“Azad Saab has always fought for the citizens of Bhaderwah.Although he was in Delhi, he never thought of the people of this region,” said a local businessman.
The Congress will hold an ‘Mehangai par Halla Bol the Sunday.The Congress has organized ‘Mehangai Chaupals or interactive meetings at mandis, markets for retail and other places in all Assembly constituencies from the 17th of August until 23.
The party printed the brochures, and distributed them to government organizations.They were later translated and printed in the local languages for distribution to the general public.
