R Madhavan, a famous Indian actor, recently spoke about his experience working with strong women in the film industry.He expressed his admiration for his co-star Kangana Ranaut, whom he described as an “extraordinary actor” and someone he is in “awe” of.Madhavan has acted alongside Ranaut in the films Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Madhavan stated that he has always been drawn to strong women and has been fortunate enough to work with many of them throughout his career.

He emphasized that he has never been interested in playing roles where women are simply portrayed as “cliche heroines” who are submissive and exist only to dance or be slapped by male characters.Madhavan believes that recognizing the strength and ability of women on and off-screen is crucial.

In particular, Madhavan mentioned that he was raised by strong women, including his mother who was a bank manager for 30 years in Bihar.He believes that women are the stronger species and that they tend to last longer than men.He noted that even in old age, men often rely on their wives more than the other way around.

Currently, Madhavan is working on several upcoming projects, including The Railway Men, a film set against the backdrop of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, in which he will star alongside Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan, and Divyendu Sharma.He will also be a part of the C Shankaran Nair biopic, where he will appear alongside Akshay Kumar.Additionally, Madhavan will be playing GD Nadu in his own biopic.
