Plot registration has resumed for Amravati farmers.The state government has resumed the registration process with the High Court ruling.28 thousand 587 farmers gave lands for capital.A total of about 35,000 acres of land was provided.

In return the previous government decided to give them plots.

The government has to give 38,282 residential and 26,453 commercial plots to farmers.

Of this, 40,378 plots were registered in the name of farmers by the previous government.

During this time the registrations were stopped by the Jagan government.

The farmers and the residents of Amravati approached the High Court.The High Court, which heard the case, ordered the registrations to be done.

With this, the CRDA started the process again.Registration of the remaining 24,357 plots has recently resumed.

Minister Botsa Satyanaryana’s comments on Amaravati capital on Monday led to widespread speculation on future of Amaravati capital.Speaking to media persons after attending the Assembly session, Botsa said Hyderabad will be capital of AP till 2024 and the courts also might have commented on this keeping it in mind.

He made it clear as per the government’s stand Amaravati will be legislative capital only.Replying to queries of media persons on the three capitals, the minister said, “As the assembly sessions started today, wait and see till the March 31 to know the developments.”
