Jammu 11 Aug : The alert troops of the Army prevented a terrorist’s “fidayeen” (suicide) attack last Thursday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district in which three soldiers and two terrorists were killed.Defence sources have told IANS, “Terrorists tried to traverse the border of the army camp in Pargal close to Budh Kanadi in the Darhal area of Rajouri district in the early hours of this morning.
“Sentry in guard duty” challenged the intruders, and a exchange of fire ensued.
“Two intruding terrorists were killed.Three soldiers also died in the line of duty during this mission.”
According to the same sources, it was an “fidayeen” (Suicide) attack by terrorists, that was stopped.
More troops were sent to investigate the area.
