Bhopal 1st of September : As as many as seven employees of the private factory took to the streets in protest against a delay in the payment of their monthly wages and transfer to a different establishment in Indore the police announced on Thursday.The police stated that during the protest at the entrance of the plant, employees carried a poisionous substance and if their complaints were not addressed, they ate the poison.
All seven of them were taken at a nearby hospital where their condition is said to be stable at present.They are identified as Jamnadhar Vishwakarma Deepak Singh, Rajesh, Devilal Karedia, Ravi Kaderia, Jintendra Dhamniya, and Shekhar Verma.
According to police the workers have been associated with the manufacturing facility that makes products that are used in modular kitchens for the several years.
In the course of investigation it was discovered that the owner of the factory was not paying their wages for the last few months, and also transferred them to another establishment as a result of which they faced lots of issues, according to Ajay Singh Kushwaha, an investigator.
