Hardoi (UP) September 1 : Five people have been arrested by the Hardoi police after accusing a teenager of beating him and cutting off his hair.The incident occurred in Kaithipurwa sometime ago, but the issue was only discovered after a video of the incident was shared on social media.
The young man identified as Rohit was reported to be wandering in Kaithipurwa village, when a few women complain about the fact that he was following them.
Rohit is a resident of the nearby Karimnagar village.
Local residents took Rohit and beat him up , while two of them cut off his hair.
Inspector Inderjit Singh stated that, after taking note of the viral footage, five individuals -five people – Satyendra Kumar, Krishna Pal, Rampal and two others were detained and booked for disrupting of peace.
