Ramachandrappa used harsh language when discussing the nation,” the BJP MLC stated.
“It is an act of humiliation” he said, saying that the disrespect to the National Anthem as well as the Tricolor is not acceptable.
“Ramachandrappa was in a high-ranking post in an Academy in 2016 when Siddaramaiah was Chief Minister. What was the reason why Siddaramaiah who is a hypersensitive person, not take an action against him? Or did he simply shut his eyes in acceptance of comments made regarding the national anthem?” Ravikumar said.
The BJP leaders have requested immediate legal action against Ramachandrappa and the imposition of an immediate ban on the book.
Ramachandrappa was scrutinized by the ruling BJP during the time of the textbook revision controversy.
