Vanitha Vijaykumar, a popular actress and daughter of actor Vijaykumar, recently posted an emotional note on social media after her third husband, Peter Paul, passed away on April 29 in Chennai.Peter Paul was a VFX editor in the Tamil film industry, and the couple met during the Covid-19 lockdown when Vanitha started her YouTube channel.
Vanitha and Peter Paul tied the knot in June 2020, however, their marital bliss was short-lived as Vanitha found out that Peter Paul was still legally wedded to his first wife and had not yet finalized their divorce.As a result, Vanitha ended the marriage after just four months.
The news of Peter Paul’s first marriage created a significant controversy, and his first wife sought help from the media and agencies.Additionally, Peter Paul had been hospitalized for a year due to excessive smoking and alcohol consumption, and Vanitha reportedly spent a lot of money on his treatment.
Eventually, Vanitha left the marriage, stating that she had not been aware of Peter’s marital status.
According to reports, Peter Paul had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for over a year until his death.
In her note, Vanitha wrote that her mother once taught her that God helps those who help themselves, and she believes that Peter Paul found peace after battling his demons and the trauma he had gone through.She also stated that she felt sad about his passing but knew that he was in a better place and had finally found peace.
