Tamil superstar Rajinikanth visited Ayodhya on Sunday to offer prayers to Ram Lalla and to see the construction work of the Ram Temple.He also visited the Hanuman Garhi temple.
Rajinikanth was accompanied by his wife Latha.They were welcomed by senior officials at the Ram Janmabhoomi.Rajinikanth was gifted a model of the Ram temple and a stole adorned with the name of Lord Ram by the chief priest of the temple.
Rajinikanth said that he had long wished to visit Ayodhya and that he was fortunate to have finally fulfilled his wish.
He said that he would come back to Ayodhya after the construction of the temple is completed.
Earlier in the day, Rajinikanth met Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow.
He also met with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.Rajinikanth said that his meeting with the UP CM was “very good”.
