Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram made his debut as a Hero with the Telugu remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s blockbuster hit ‘Arjun Reddy’.National award winner Bala was the first choice to direct this film that has Megha as the female lead.
Titled as ‘Varmaa’, the film got shelved due to unknown reasons after completing the entire shoot.
News came out that the film’s producer Mukesh Ratilal Mehta and Dhruv‘s dad Chiyaan Vikram were unhappy with Bala’s version, so they skipped the theatrical release and wanted to reshoot the entire film.
Later another director Gireesaaya directed another version titled ‘Aditya Varma’ that released last year but the box office performance was just average unlike ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Kabir Singh’.
Now the interesting update is that director Bala’s version will finally see the light of the day in the coming days.
News is that the shelved version directed by Bala is all set for its release on Simply South APP on 6th October.Needless to say, fans of Bala and ‘Arjun Reddy’ movie will be curious to watch the movie to know why it was shelved after its completion.Keep watching this space for more updates!.
