New Delhi, Aug 14 : The capital of India this Sunday recorded 2,162 new Covid infections, which is an increase of only marginally over the 2,031 cases that were reported on Saturday in accordance with the health bulletin released by the Delhi government.The city also announced five Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours.
Furthermore it is reported that the Covid positive level of the city has barely increased to 12.64 percent, while the total number of active cases currently is 8,430, of the 5,734 who are in isolation at home.
With 1,832 patients being treated in the past 24 hours the total number of recuperations has risen to 19,49,784, whereas the total number of cases in Delhi so far is 19,84,595 with the death rate of 26,381.
An aggregate of 17,106 Covid tests were performed in the past 24 hours, including 12,819 RTPCR and 4,287 Rapid Antigen tests, while 25432 vaccines were administered in the same timeframe 1136 initial doses, 3,413 subsequent doses and 20,883 doses of precautionary doses.
The number of vaccine-affected beneficiaries so far is 3,60,60,046 in accordance with the health bulletin.
