Canberra, November 19, : , The Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison called Friday for the governments to “step back”.He said that the government should ease Covid-19 restrictions and allow people to get vaccinated as vaccination coverage is improving in the fight against the 3rd wave of pandemic.Morrison, however, condemned the violent demonstrations in Victoria against the proposed laws on pandemics.However, he said he felt for the frustrated Australians who are still being restricted by the restrictions.
He stated to reporters that he would continue to decry violence and threats of intimidation.
“Australians did their bit.They have done their part and it’s time to move on with their lives.
Australia had 1,508 Covid-19-related deaths and 1508 cases of locally acquired Covid-19.
This brought the total to 1,933 and 195,624 respectively.
According to the Department of Health, as of today, 91.2 percent of Australians over 16 have had one dose of Covid-19 and 84.6 percent were inoculated.
