In announcing his yatra across the country, Kejriwal declared that the 130-crore population of the country would like to envision India as an advanced and No.1 nation in the world.

“Even after 75 years of Independence, India remained an underdeveloped nation. It is hurtful when people around the world say that India is an underdeveloped and undeveloped country,” Kejriwal said.

“Until every child gets a quality education that is free of cost the country can’t advance. In 1947, India became independent and we have made strides in many areas, but we made a mistake not establish excellent schools for children of the government in all the villages.

If every child had received a high-quality education prior to the time of independence, India would have achieved significant advancement,” he said.

Kejriwal also urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to come up with plans in concert with every state to transform all schools of the country more modern in the coming five years.
