Muraleedharan, a Congress Lok Sabha member, was on Tuesday called “stupid” by district Mayor Arya Rajendran for driving her car to the presidential convoy early in this week.I am really shocked, is there no one in the CPI -M to teach her the basics? She was foolish to have driven her car into a presidential convoy.This could have led to her immediate firing.Muraleedharan said this while speaking to a party gathering here.
The vehicle that was carrying Rajendran was in violation of protocol on December 24 as Rajendran was traveling from the airport for an event to be held in the capital.
The President’s cavalcade was heading towards Poojapura.
Kovind was in the second of 14 vehicles.As the convoy moved, the Mayor tried to get into the convoy.
Kovind had to share the dais at the event.
Her vehicle traveled a short distance before it entered the convoy at the General Hospital.
It then followed the eighth vehicle in the convoy.
Sources claim that this was an extremely serious error and vehicles in front of her were forced to stop as soon as she entered the ninth position.
Muraleedharan & Arya Rajendran were at odds for some time.The Mayor filed a complaint against Muraleedharan after he made an “unsavoury” comment that she claimed was an insult to womanhood.
Muraleedharan said that, in October while addressing a protest against inefficiency and alleged corruption by the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor, Muraleedharan stated: “Even though she is beautiful, her words are unsustainable and horrible.” Muraleedharan also quoted from an old Malayalam film.
