Islamabad, December 1, : Pakistan’s Chief Of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Baswa, called for coordinated efforts to lift the people of Afghanistan.This was stated in an Army statement. Bajwa met with Major General Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Al Khalifa in Rawalpindi, Pakistan’s east Punjab region.He stressed the need for global convergence on Afghanistan to ensure regional peace and stability.
According to the statement from the military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations, the meeting covered matters of mutual interest, current security in Afghanistan, and bilateral cooperation.
According to the Pakistan Army Chief, Pakistan wants to continue bilateral engagement and hopes for a long-term multi-domain relationship with Bahrain.
