After this one more place is going to be added to the list.The work on the museum is being finalized and the museum is likely to be inaugurated by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his next visit.

INS Kursura Submarine Museum, Matsyadarshini Aquarium, VUDA Park, Appu Ghar, Teneti Park, YSR View Point in Sitakonda, TU-142 Aircraft Museum, Visakha Museum, Dot RK Beach in Visakhapatnam.With the stretch of Sea Harrier Museum, tourists will have many options to explore during their visit.Lakhs of tourists visit these places.During weekends, holidays and festival season, these tourist places attract a large number of tourists.

With the Tu-142 Aircraft Museum and the Sea Harrier located opposite the INS Kursura Submarine, there is great scope for tourists to visit all the museums located close to each other.

Earlier this museum was to be launched last March.

It may be recalled that the Sea Harrier fighter jet was brought from Goa to Visakhapatnam and was decommissioned by the Indian Navy in 2016.

Designed and manufactured by British Aerospace, the Sea Harrier fighter jet will be suspended from the roof of what used to be the Rajiv Smriti Bhavan.

Speaking on the occasion, District Collector and VMRDA Commissioner A Mallikarjuna said, “Besides the TU-142 aircraft and INS Kursura Submarine Museum, the Sea Harrier is going to be made accessible to the public very soon.Youngsters can get information about the fighter jets.

The exhibits in the museum will be divided into five sections.
