Gurukul Educational institutions reopen from today in Telangana.Officials of the respective societies are arranging for the immediate opening of the institutions in the wake of the High Court’s order allowing the Gurukuls to reopen.
The Telangana High court ordered the Gurukul Educational institution principals to reopen schools and colleges from today.There are over a thousand Educational institutions across the state under the SC, ST and BC Minority Gurukul Societies.
About 4 lakh students are studying in these institutions.Due to the high surge of covid cases, Gurkul Educational institutions remained closed in Telangana.However, the students had online classes.
The Telangana state government has decided to reopen Educational institutions from September 1 for the current academic year as the corona cases reduced.
The High Court, however, did not allow the opening of Gurukul schools giving priority to the health of students.The High Court has issued interim orders not to open Gurukuls.
Recently, the High Court amended the previous orders not to open Gurukuls.With this, the authorities are making arrangements to start Gurukuls from today.
The principals of the respective colleges have been directed by the higher authorities to reopen the Educational institutions from Thursday in the wake of the Inter first year examinations from October 25.
