Mumbai, Dec 8, 2008 : Thandiwe is in talks with Channing Tatum to star opposite her in ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance’ directed by Steven Soderbergh. Soderbergh also directed the first film in this franchise.
He is also producing Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which is based upon the screenplay of Reid Carolyn.The film’s plot details are unknown at this time and it will be exclusively shown on HBO Max.
Deadline reported that Gregory Jacobs, the former director of ‘Magic Mike XXL,’ will be producing the third installment of the franchise’s film.He will also work with Nick Wechsler, Peter Kiernan, and Carolin.
According to Deadline, ‘Magic Mike’ & ‘Magic Mike XXL combined grossed almost $300 million worldwide.This led to the success of ‘Magic Mike Live!’ in 2017.
Newton is the subject of three Emmy nominations.She was nominated for her work in ‘Westworld,’ the highly acclaimed sci-fi series.A fourth season will be coming soon.Recently, she was seen opposite Hugh Jackman in “Reminiscence” as Emily “Watts”, and has just wrapped production on the Amazon Studios film “All the Old Knives” with Chris Pine.
