Tokyo Olympics 2020 bronze medalist and World Badminton Champion PV Sindhu met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the CM chamber at the AP Secretariat.On this occasion, she showed CM Jagan the bronze medal she won at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Responding to this, CM Jagan congratulated PV Sindhu for winning two medals back to back at the Olympics.CM Jagan honoured PV Sindhu with a shawl.
Sindhu told CM Jagan that she had won the bronze with CM Jagan and AP people blessings.
PV Sindhu said that CM Jagan supported her to a great extent in winning a bronze medal.
However, in the past, the Andhra Pradesh government has allocated 2 acres of land in Visakhapatnam for PV Sindhu’s Badminton academy.Sindhu said the AP government is taking steps to promote the players.
On this occasion, it is revealed that PV Sindhu’s Badminton academy be started in Visakhapatnam soon.Chief Minister Jagan wished PV Sindhu to achieve more and more medals and be successful.
Authorities handed over a cash reward of Rs 30 lakh to Sindh on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh state government as per CM Jagan’s instructions.
