New Zeland’s young all-rounder Corey Anderson slammed a century off just 36 balls against the West Indies and creates world record for fastest ODI ton.The previous fastest century in ODIs was by Shahid Afridi, who got it in just 37 balls way back in 1996.
Anderson, who finished the New Zealand innings unbeaten on 131, hit 14 sixes in his whirlwind assault, the third highest number of sixes in an ODI innings
Otherside one more player Ryder also reached his century from 46 balls but was overshadowed by Anderson who played one of the most remarkable innings in the history of one-day cricket.
Anderson finished on 131 not out from 47 balls, as New Zealand scored at an extraordinary 13 runs per over.
