Actress Krystle D’Souza astonishes Instagram followers with an amazing physical transformation. She shared before and after pictures that showcased her journey of losing weight.
In an interview, she revealed that she had gained weight during the Covid-19 pandemic-induced lockdowns, when unhealthy habits took hold.
During the lockdowns, many of us were eating unhealthy food, as gyms were closed, and we were taking life too easily.
The mental stress of that period led to food becoming a source of comfort for me, and I ended up eating a lot. However, what bothered me the most was how I looked in the mirror, especially when editing my photos for social media.I realized that I wanted to be fitter and more physically active, not just for others’ opinions but for my own satisfaction and confidence.
I used to spend my days in bed, watching TV and not being physically active.
But now, I have completely changed my routine.I wake up early and go to the gym regularly.Losing weight has brought back the joy of fitting into my old pair of jeans, or even buying a size smaller. However, I want to emphasize that being thinner doesn’t necessarily mean being healthier. It’s about the personal satisfaction of achieving my fitness goals and feeling more confident.
Not only did I notice changes in my appearance, but I also experienced a drop in my stamina levels.
This motivated me further to prioritize my health and fitness.I started working with a trainer who guided me in transforming my body into muscle.
Although my weight on the scale remained nearly the same, I could see the positive changes in my physique.
Nowadays, I work out four times a week and rest for three days.
My workouts are diverse, ranging from weight training to kickboxing, to keep things interesting. In terms of diet, I follow a simple plan focused on protein and healthy fats while reducing my carbohydrate intake.
Losing weight has brought more than just physical changes.I am now more active throughout the day.As an actor waiting for my next project, I used to spend most of my time at home, but now I prefer going out, meeting friends, and engaging in various activities.
