Abu Dhabi (UAE), Sep 8 : Morrisville SAMP Army on Thursday announced the signing of four players to their club in the Abu Dhabi T10, picking South Africa’s David Miller as their icon player.The franchise based in the USA that was officially announced on Wednesday has brought in famous names such as speedster Anrich Nortje England all-rounder Moeen Ali and West Indies’ Shimron Hetmyer.
Miller is a vital part of the South Africa set-up, was also a major player in the Gujarat Titans in their title-winning debut season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier in the year.Miller also played in the T20 game in Australia, West Indies, England, and Pakistan.
Miller has played 396 T20 games in his career and boasts of an extremely good strike rate, the team stated in the release released on Thursday.

In addition, his co-countryman Nortje who will be joining the team, has played in 99 games in the T20 format and has picked up 120 wickets in all.
England’s Moeen Ali has also played a good amount of franchise cricket, playing out in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore and the M.S Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings as well.Moeen Ali is an all-rounder who is a great middle-order batsman and an effective off-break bowler.Ali’s dazzling abilities were evident in his previous campaign, when he scored 77 runs off 23 balls.
