Noida 21 August : Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has offered his support for the mahapanchayat he called in the support of Shrikant Tyagi in Noida.Tikait has stated that a quick settlement must be reached in this regard.
The mahapanchayat was held by the Tyagi community at Ramlila Maidan in Noida’s Sector 110 on Sunday, when thousands of people in thousands gathered and shouted protests in support of BJP MP Mahesh Sharma.
The mahapanchayat’s speakers also expressed their anger over the Commissionerate Police.
Additionally, the six young people who were incarcerated for forcing their way into the housing society in support of Shrikant Tyagi’s wife Anu Tyagi were honored at the mahapanchayat.
“The viral video (of Shrikant Tyagi) was not presented in a proper manner.
This is the first time that I’ve seen an award of more than 25,000 rupees in this kind of case.This is the reason the Tyagi community has come together, .,” to meet BKU’s chief Tikait and told IANS.
“We are in the support of the Tyagi Samaj.The issue should be settled; we will speak to the police authorities.It’s not an issue.There are more heinous crimes to be committed than this.The residents of the (housing) society and MP Mahesh Sharma should sit together to negotiate a settlement,” Tikait added.
In the early hours in the daytime, BKU leader Tikait was detained and questioned by Delhi police as he was attempting to enter the capital city of the nation.But, following the protests of BKU members BKU, Tikait was released and returned.
In the meantime, the police have re-enforced the security measures at the Tikri border.Farmers who tried to get into the capital city to participate in a protest in Jantar Mantar were detained by police.
In response to the news, Tikait said, “There is a demonstration in Delhi on September 6 but we do not have to with it.with this, and we will be attending it.We’ll meet with the Samyukt Morcha in Delhi on September 6, at which point we will plan our future plan of the action.”
