Hyderabad 15 Aug, Hyderabad : All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi on Monday hoisted the Tricolour in the old city of Hyderabad to mark the occasion of the 75th Independence Day.As with every year Asaduddin Owaisi was the first to hoist the Tricolour in Madina Circle near historic Charminar.The Hyderabad MP was joined by leaders from the area of the party as well as traders.
Asaduddin made a post on Twitter to wish the best to everyone on Independence Day.”Our ancestral ancestors struggled against the British but they also struggled for an India which was free of oppression, hunger and the rule of law.We must carry their fight forward.May Allah SWT safeguard our nation from hatred and oppression.” he wrote.
AIMIM floor leader in Telangana State Legislative Assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi hoisted the Tricolor at Fatima Owaisi KG to PG Educational Campus in Bandlaguda.
Faculty and students also participated in the ceremony together with the MLA from the Chandrayangutta constituency.
Independence Day celebrations were also held at Darussalam which is the AIMIM headquarters.
Joint secretary of the party S.A.Hussain Anwar hoisted the flag of the country in the presence of workers and party leaders.
