The BCCI Apex Council has approved the international series to be played by Team India at home grounds in the next eight months.As part of that, Visakhapatnam got the opportunity to host one of the T20 matches.
The second T20 against the West Indies will be played on February 18 next year in Visakhapatnam.Hyderabad, however, was left disappointed.
None of the matches was scheduled at Hyderabad Uppal stadium.
An international cricket match will be played on February 18, 2022, in Visakhapatnam after a long time.
Team India will play with West Indies on February 18, 2022, at the ACA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

HCA, however, missed an opportunity to host one of the T20 matches.The BCCI did not allot a single match to Hyderabad.
Internal tussles within the HCA are suspected to be the cause of this.
The BCCI has given a big shock to HCA, which has been famous in cricket in India for some time for allegations of corruption and internal tussles over the game.
India will play a total of 21 matches, including 14-T20s, 4 Test series and 3 ODIs, on home grounds between November 2021 and June 2022.
