Actor Prakash Raj has posted again about his previous controversial comment regarding India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission.He shared on a platform called X (formerly known as Twitter), saying that people who didn’t understand his joke were “dumb trolls.” He mentioned that the character he joked about, the “Malayali Chaiwaala,” is actually very intelligent and has expanded his “franchise” to Mars, Jupiter, and soon Pluto.

Prakash Raj had previously faced criticism for making fun of India’s third lunar mission.

In the controversial post, Prakash Raj shared a cartoon of a man in traditional clothing pouring tea, which upset some Twitter users who felt he was belittling India’s scientific accomplishments.This isn’t the first time he has made such comments, as he’s taken digs at Prime Minister Narendra Modi using the “chaiwala” reference.

The backlash led to a Hindu group filing a police complaint against him.
