Dhanush’s much-awaited gangster drama ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ under the direction of Karthik Subbaraj is one of the highly anticipated films of this year.This film was initially scheduled for a release this summer but was later postponed owing to the Coronavirus outbreak.
With Suriya’s ‘Aakasham Nee Haddhu Ra’ opting for a direct OTT release recently, there were reports speculating the release of ‘Jagame Thandiram’ on a major OTT platform.Dhanush fans weren’t happy with this news and have trended #WewantJagameythanthiramintheatersonly on Twitter and thus demanded an official note from the makers.
Now the makers’ latest tweet has come as a great sigh of relief for all the fans.The film’s producer Shashikant took to his Twitter and hinted that he would wait for the film to be released in theatres.
He wrote on his Twitter “#Jagamethendiram Jagam is still healing & not back to normal ???? Until then, be patient for the theatres to open & don’t believe in rumours ???? The entire team is waiting to see @dhanushkraja go #rakitarakita on a big screen soon Just #chillbro ????”
