MP Raghurama requests Modi to focus on the AP’s financial situation

Narsapuram MP Raghurama Krishnama Raju has become a sensation in AP politics these days.

He is writing a series of letters to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and reminding him of the promises that he has made during the 2019 general Assembly elections campaign.

Apart from this, recently, he penned to Prime Minister Modi.In the letter, he mentioned that the AP government was indebted beyond its revenue.

He said the government was mortgaging the assets and resulting in debts, transferring the government assets to the APSDC and collecting more loans.The letter said APSDC had already borrowed Rs 10,000 crore from various banks and was now contacting banks asking for Rs 3,000 crore for welfare schemes.

However, Raghurama criticized the government for trying to make the allotted land in Visakhapatnam hostage to the Dubai-based Lulu company.The letter also said that the state government had incurred debts beyond the scope of FRBM and that the Center was also responsible for safeguarding public property.

In the letter, MP Raghurama asked Prime Minister Modi to focus on the APs financial situation.It remains to be seen how Modi will react to MPs letter.
