New Delhi, Aug 5 : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who’s on an eight-day trip to the capital of India and met with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latters’s residence in the city on Friday.Sources have said that during the conference numerous crucial issues were debated between the two leaders among them the pending GST tax payment to the state and the Prime Minister also pledged that he would find the solution.
In her trip, Banerjee may also call on President Droupadi Murmu in addition to attending an assembly of NITI Aayog on the 7th of August.
In the early hours of Friday morning, Banerjee attended a meeting with all Trinamool Congress MPs and discussed the proceedings of the ongoing Monsoon Session of the Parliament.
Banerjee who will be in Delhi until August 8 is likely to meet with opposition leaders.
