Shah Rukh Khan, a famous Bollywood actor, will be in Dubai on Thursday to promote his new movie “Jawan.” This isn’t the first time he’s done this; he followed a similar strategy for his previous film “Pathaan” too.Shah Rukh shares a special connection with Dubai.On his birthdays, the Burj Khalifa is illuminated with his face, a tradition that happened before the release of “Pathaan” and will be repeated for “Jawan.”
Shah Rukh has a close relationship with the city, and he’s even been a brand ambassador for Dubai.He owns property there as well—a luxurious villa on Palm Jumeira, presented to him by Nakheel, a property company.
The villa, named “Jannat,” which means heaven, is beautifully designed by his wife, Gauri Khan.His Mumbai home is called “Mannat.”
“Jannat” is on the K Frond of the Palm Jumeira, the world’s largest man-made island.The villa stands on a 14,000 sq.ft plot and features six bedrooms, private pool, beach view, and two remote-controlled garages.Shah Rukh, along with his children Aryan and Suhana, expressed gratitude to Nakheel in a promotional video for the villa.
Gauri mentioned that they’ve personalized the rooms based on the children’s interests—Aryan’s room has a large TV for his video games, AbRam spends time on the beach, and Suhana enjoys the pool.
The Khans are fond of Dubai and visit often, so having a home there makes sense.They appreciate the exclusivity of the villas, the scenic view of the Dubai skyline, and the various facilities the city offers, like beaches, clubs, and resorts.
Besides Dubai, Shah Rukh reportedly owns real estate in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Alibaug.Other Bollywood stars like Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi, Anil Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, and Salman Khan are also known to own properties in Dubai.
