Telugu Desam Party state president Achennaidu has been sharply critical of the YCP government.Speaking to media here on Sunday, he said that the Oscar Award to be given to Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has gone beyond the Oscar award on AP Special status.
When Jagan was in the Opposition, he was criticized for dramatizing status with paid artists and now not being soft-spoken.He said the YCP’s fault and incompetence on special status was once again exposed to the people of the state.
Achennaidu said the inclusion of special status in the agenda of the sub-committee appointed to resolve the partition issue and its removal was a testament to the YCP’s shortcomings and incompetence.He said that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had sold the aspirations of five crore people for the amnesty of his cases and banned the word status from being heard anywhere.
Achennaidu demanded that Chief Minister Jagan Reddy and YCP MPs resign immediately as they did not deserve to continue in the posts held by the people when the aspirations of the people were not fulfilled.
