New Delhi, Nov 18, : , On Thursday, educational activities at Balochistan University were suspended again.Students protested the disappearances of two of their classmates and accused the government, Dawn reported.
Faseeh and Sohail Baloch disappeared several days before the protest began on November 7.
The students of various Baloch Student Organisations (BSO), locked down the gates to the university on Tuesday, November 9, and declared that they would not allow anyone to take their semester exams.
After receiving assurances that the government would recover missing students by Tuesday, the students had stopped the protest on Saturday.
Baloch Student Organisation (BSO Secretary General Balach Qadir Baloch) stated that the government committee is now seeking another three or four days to “disregard their earlier promise of recovering the students missing by November 16”.
To address issues facing students, the government established a committee and submitted their recommendations.
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party MPA Nasrullah Zaray confirmed that there was a conditional agreement.
He also said that it had been presented to Balochistan Chief minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo.
