Bihar Legislative Council goes digital

Patna : , Nov 25, 2015 – The Bihar Legislative Council is now digitally equipped with tabs.
Awadhesh Singh, the chairperson for BLC, stated that chief minister Nitish Kumar had the idea to make the House paperless.

We have now equipped the entire House to support our MLCs with tabs.It is the first House to have digital facilities.”

The entire digital setup is based upon the National E-Vidhan Application.Singh inaugurated it in the presence Renu Devi, Deputy Chief Minister, and Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, Industry Minister.

It will be fully operational by the winter session 2021.

“It’s not only a proud moment, but also for the nation as BLC has become a digital House.

Members will be able to submit their complaints and questions digitally through tabs.Ministers will also respond.

Renu Devi stated that the entire conversation will be recorded automatically.

“The technology will increase the efficiency of MLCs, ministers, and staff in the House.

It will be easy for members to use.Hussain stated that members will be able to learn the operative procedures and their uses through a training program.
