Srinagar : , Nov 15, 2015 – Jammu and Kashmir Police announced Monday that they had busted a SIM card racket in Baramulla District. “The accused person would issue fake SIM cards after managing forged documents.
After obtaining forged documents, the accused would issue fake SIM cards.
“Three persons, Owais Farooq Waza, Suhail Aziz and Javid Ahmad Kanjwal, all residents of Baramulla, have been arrested in this case.
In this case, Owais Farooq Wazir, Suhail Aziz, and Javid Ahmad Kanjwal were all Baramulla residents, and were arrested.
“Incriminating material including mobile phones along with SIM cards, electronic gadgets and documents have been recovered from their possession.
They have recovered incriminating material, including SIM cards, electronic gadgets, and documents.
“Case under sections of UA (P) Act and IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is going on”, police said.
Police said that the accused was being investigated and a case under section UA (P), Act and IPC was opened against him.
