Indian politicians go to any extent to tarnish the image of their opponents.Many got away with that too in the past.Things are not the same today.Any statement or a comment made by a politician goes under scrutiny, thanks to social and electronic media.
The latest victim is YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy, who went on to make false claims.
During the parliament session, TDP MP Rammohan Naidu brought the topic of Kia motors, alleging that, the company is moving its manufacturing plan to Tamil Nadu, from Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh.
The TDP MP held the Jagan’s government responsible.Countering this, YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy rose to the occasion and claimed that they were all rumours spread by the TDP party.
Going a bit further, he said that, under Nara Chandrababu’s reign as AP CM, the former CM has been involved in a land swindle.
‘Chandrababu had set up a shell company by the name Franklin Templeton.
With a notion of Rs 30 crores as an investment, land worth thousand crores have been given to the company’, Mithun Reddy said.
The TDP activists were quick to lash onto this and trolled the MP.Even Franklin Templeton joined the party.The TDP activists attached the video clip of the MP and tagged Franklin Templeton whether it is true.
