Berlin 21 August : German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck are travelling to Canada on Sunday to attend talks on energy.The main objective of their three-day trip is to strengthen collaboration between the two nations in the energy and climate sectors, the news agency dpa said.
However the discussions with Premier Justin Trudeau are also due to focus on the political and military support for Ukraine’s fight against Russia and on their dealings with China.

The trio then travel to Toronto in the morning, in which Scholz, Habeck and Trudeau are scheduled to attend a German-Canadian economic summit.A group of over a dozen business executives will be accompanying the chancellor and vice chancellor.
Finally, Scholz and Habeck are scheduled to visit the town of Stephenville that is remote of Stephenville in Newfoundland in the afternoon of Tuesday to concentrate on the advancement of hydrogen-related technologies and supply chains.They are likely to sign an agreement in this region.
