Mumbai 21 August : B-town BFFs Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, who appeared on the same couch in the talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ are eager to watch the highly anticipated series “House of the Dragon’.The actresses uploaded videos on their social media accounts in which they were discussing the show.When Janhvi, an avid ‘Game of Thrones’ enthusiast, began to ask Sara about the series, Sara replied: “‘House of the Dragon’ is a brand new and distinct show for who you can watch it even if Game of Thrones is not required.”
Sara has said she is excited to be a part of the world of dragons “I am looking to the upcoming movie “House of the Dragon’.It’s definitely on my list of things to see!”
“There’s lots of excitement about it and I’m totally over the moon.It turns out that one doesn’t have to see ‘GOT’ prior to “HOTD”! George R.R.Martin is genius, and to see his ideas come to life will be a delight.”
She stated: “I am already fascinated by the various dragons in this period drama and I’ve got the perfect person to enjoy it with! After having treks with her and having a meal together on the Koffee couch I am now ready to watch the tense fight of the Iron throne with Janhvi exclusively on August 22nd 2022.”
Janhvi stated that she was thrilled by the prospect of watching the show with Sara: “With the Targaryens at the peak of their power with all their dragons, it’s going to be a fascinating to watch.I’m not sure whether Winter is coming , but I am sure that Sara is in for a wild adventure,” Janhvi said.
Based on George R.R.Martin’s novel ‘Fire & Blood’, the 10 episode series is the enthralling yet turbulent tale of the House of Targaryen, set 200 years prior to the events that captivated worldwide viewers in “Game of Thrones’.
HBO’s “House of the Dragon’ series will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 22.
