Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday reviewed the new districts with his superiors in his chamber in the Legislative Assembly.The review meeting was held in the backdrop of the commencement of administrative activities from the Ugadi festival in the 13 newly formed districts.
Mainly the people, the CM had a thorough discussion with the officials on the requests coming from the people’s representatives.
Credible sources informed that the final form of the new districts will be finalized on the 29th of this month considering these requests.
The officials first explained to the CM the requests received from the people and public representatives.
The CM discussed them in depth.
It is learned that senior MLA Dharmana Prasadarao told the assembly on Thursday that the CM had agreed to keep the alerts in Srikakulam district.Several leaders, including a local MLA, have appealed to the CM to make Narsapuram the district headquarters.
During the assembly sessions several legislators brought their appeals on the new districts to the attention of the CM.All these were reviewed by the Chief Minister.Credible sources said the new districts would be finalized taking these into consideration.The review was attended by Chief Secretary to the State Government Dr Sameer Sharma, Chief Commissioner for Land Administration Saiprasad and Planning Secretary Vijay Kumar.
