Aligning with the government’s vision of facilitating the adoption of safer, greener, and smarter fuels to promote sustainable living, AG&P Pratham has initiated registrations for domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections and has received 4500 (approx.) registrations in Naidupeta.
Today, the company has taken another step in starting registrations and plumbing in Gudur town.Mr.Chirag K Bhanvadia, Regional Head for Nellore and Chittoor districts inaugurated Meter and Pipeline installation at one of the households in Karanala Street, Gudur town.
During the inauguration, Mr Chirag K Bhanvadia said, “The start of the domestic PNG connection will strengthen AG&P Pratham’s aim to connect Naidupeta and Gudur Town with domestic PNG supply.
Natural gas is a safe fuel that is convenient, eco-friendly and economical as it helps save ~20% on household cooking fuel in comparison to LPG cylinders.PNG has already replaced LPG, as a domestic fuel, in cities such as Vijayawada, Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Visakhapatnam in the State of Andhra Pradesh.”.
The company is targeting about 20,000 (approx.) domestic PNG connections in the Nellore district by March 2023 to bridge the supply-demand gap for natural gas in this district.
