Washington 3rd of September : A file that was not sealed by an US federal judge outlined the items Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were able to seize on August 8 at the former presidential residence of Trump.Mar-a-Lago house in Florida.The inventory included documents from the government with classified markings that were secret photos and documents that did not have any classification markings as well as documents with classified, secret and top secret marks; and empty folders with classified banners, and other items, according to Xinhua news agency.
The documents were released by an order of a court during the review of Trump’s request for the appointment of an outside “special master” to look through the materials that were taken.
The former president has denied any wrongdoing, and has claimed that all documents seized by FBI agents were classified.
The FBI raid had provoked anger from Republican lawmakers as well as conservative media.
The probe agency claimed that it had “probable motive” that justified a search according to the bureau’s belief that it would discover “evidence of obstruction”, which is a crime in the US at the Trump residence.
Trump’s legal team claimed that the investigation was too wide, and pointed out that agents snatched away the passports of the former President.
