Chennai 27 Aug : Cricketer Robin Uthappa says that he cannot wait to whistle for Irfan Pathan, a cricketing all-rounder who will be making his debut as an actor in director Ajay Gnanamuthu’s awaited Tamil action thriller “Cobra” when he will be seen on screen.On Twitter shortly following the trailer of the action-packed thriller with actors Vikram and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, was revealed, Robin Uthappa said: “Watch out for this slasher! Congrats to my brother for another chapter in your career.I’m so glad for you and cannot wait to watch “Cobra” and yell when you appear on screen.We wish you all the success and love and success! Irfan Pathan who plays the role of a French Interpol officer dubbed Aslan Yilmaz in the film, responded: “Oh mere bhai, Thank you for everything.A lot of love to you and your family.I can’t wait to watch it on the big screen.”
Batsman who is swashbuckling Deepak Hooda also thanked Irfan for his brand new look.He stated: “The trailer takes me back to the conversation we had 10 years ago.Irfan Bhhai had said”I’ll do anything in life’, ‘I’m an all-rounder! You’ve stuck to the words you spoke.I am looking to seeing your debut on the silver screen, Bhai.”
