Gunfight Erupts In South Kashmir

Srinagar (12/12/2012) Officials said that terrorists and security personnel fought in a gunfight at Baragam, Awantipora, South Kashmir’s Pulwama District, on Sunday.
“Encounters have begun at Baragam in Awantipora.

The police stated that security and police forces were on the scene.

After a joint police-army team had cordoned off an area, the military launched a search operation based on specific intelligence about terrorists.
