Telugu cine lyricist Sirivennela Sitaramashastri has died today (November 30) after suffering from lung cancer for the past few days.He is 66 years old.He has earned a good reputation not only as a writer and singer but also as an actor.
He was born on May 20, 1955 in Anakapalli village, Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh.His real name is Chembolu Sitarama Shastri.He is 66 years old.He came to Hyderabad and settled down.
While studying Sitaramashastri, Telugu film director K Vishwanath recognised his talent.
Sitaramashastri composed about nine songs in sirivennela film, the first of which was ‘Vidhata Talapuna Prabhavinchinadi’.The song brought him a lot of recognition and it took him almost a week to write the song.
The song was sung by Bala Subrahmanyam and Sushila.
All the songs in this movie were provided by him.With this, the name of the movie Sirivennela became his last name.Since then he has been known as Sirivennela Sitaramashastri.
