Lucknow, Nov 24, : Krishna Patel (Pana Dal) is the president of Apna Dal (Krishna group), which is headed by Anupriya Patel, Union Minister.She has announced her party’s alliance to Samajwadi Party.
Krishna Patel, who met SP president Akhilesh Yodav earlier in day, said to reporters that the party had concluded the alliance and that they would discuss seat sharing later.
She stated that she was ready to take every step to remove the BJP from power.
Interestingly, her estranged child Anupriya, who heads a different faction of Apna Dal, is an ally to the BJP and is a minister in the Union.Ashish Patel, her husband, is a member the legislative council.
The Samajwadi Party didn’t confirm or deny this development.
