Sydney, 21 Nov : .Former Australia Test captain Tim Paine had been asked by Shannon Tubb to quit Cricket Tasmania (CT) after a sexting investigation that involved the same woman Paine was with.
Foxsports.com.au quoted the Herald Sun report as saying that Tubb had resigned his position at Cricket Tasmania after an investigation into X-rated messages she sent to the female junior staffer who was a former Australian Test captain Paine.

According to the report, Tubb was named coach at Adelaide’s Prince Alfred College after leaving Cricket Tasmania.According to foxsports, Tubb had been involved in a role of development with Cricket Australia XI.

According to the report, CT probed Tubb’s texts messages at around mid-2018.This was also when Cricket Australia launched an investigation into Paine’s controversial message.

Herald Sun reports that Tubb said when he was asked for his opinion, “There’s not comment on that at any time mate.I’m sorry.”

Cricket Tasmania stated, “Cricket Tasmania will not be responding (to any) of the questions.”

Paine resigned as Australia’s Test captain with just three weeks to go before the Ashes series begins.This announcement, made on November 19, has rocked the Australian cricket community to its core.

A tearful Paine was in recovery from a neck operation and looking forward to the Ashes when he announced that he would be quitting.
