Seoul, November 22nd : .K-pop superstar BTS was named Record of the Year by the U.
S.media & entertainment trade magazine ‘Variety.It won the award for the global hit song “Butter”.According to Yonhap News Agency and Big Hit Music, the digital single was awarded Record of the Year in the 2021 Hitmakers list.
“The single ‘Butter” was a hit in May and became a smashing BTS record,” said ‘Variety.”The perfect hit that won’t stop” was the song’s creators and producers, which included RM, the frontman of the group.
K-pop’s second entry on the ‘Variety’ list was ‘Butter.It was named Group Of The Year last year and became the first Korean artist to be recognized by the annual “Variety” celebration.
This annual ceremony honors writers, editors, publishers, managers, and executives that helped to make the 25 most-listened songs of the year.The ceremony for the award is scheduled to take place in December 4.
