New Delhi, Nov 19, : , Three people sustained injuries when an LPG tank caught on fire in an explosion at a Bawana Industrial Area factory.This was according to an official here.
Official informed them that they were called about the fire at L-235 Sector-3 in Bawana Ind on Thursday night at 7.04 pm.After that, 14 fire tenders were immediately called into service.
According to the official, the firefighters took four hours in order to extinguish the flames.Cooling has been complete.At 11.00 p.m., the last unit left.The injured were identified as Janak Raj Yadav (25), Mool Chand Yadav (47), and Joginder Yodav (20).
They were all admitted to Maharishi Valmiki hospital, where Janak Raj, who sustained 60% burns, is currently undergoing treatment.
Joginder sustained minor injuries to his legs while Mool Chand suffered 40% burns.
Officials confirmed there had been no injuries.The factory had to be completely destroyed.
The majority of articles were burned and made into ashes.
Atul Garg, chief of Delhi Fire Services, told IANS that the fire damaged the machinery, materials and LPG cylinders at the factory “Krishna Packaging”, which had three stories.
The building was 150 square meters in size.metres.
The charred remnants of the building were seen by locals who gathered in the morning.
This incident occurs just four days following the death of a fourth member of a family who was injured when an LPG tank caught on fire in Nangloi, western Delhi, Monday.
